Focus on the Process, Not Just the Outcome
When setting goals, we are often inclined to focus solely on the end result. Whether it’s losing a certain amount of weight, earning a promotion, or running a marathon, the end goal often serves as the ultimate motivation. However, paradoxically, this focus on the outcome can sometimes be demotivating. What happens when progress slows down or the goal seems farther away than expected? This is where the importance of process-oriented work comes into play.
